The High and the Mighty John Wayne's socko Grand Hotel in the sky has been at the top of wanted lists for many years, and finally hits in a 2-disc special edition. The Dimitri Tiompkin score is magnificent and Wayne is tops as the only level-headed crewman on a stricken airliner, but the movie overall is a dramatic embarrassment.
