Cross of Iron
Sam Peckinpah's last really commendable film is a heady combination of furious action and stilted theatrics, almost saved by a fine James Coburn performance. Hen's Tooth's DVD isn't due for another month but it will be worth the wait for Peckinpah fans - it's a solid transfer at the show's full length.
