Equinox
Criterion creates an ode to the "Purveyors of the Lost Arts" of special effects, through a semi-amateur monster movie filmed by Dennis Muren, David Allen, Jim Danforth and Mark McGee and bought and re-jiggered by schlock filmmaker Jack H. Harris. The 2-disc set includes both versions of the movie (very instructive) and a pile of fascinating extras.
