Rediscover Jacques Feyder Blackhawk revives three startlingly good silent pictures from a French filmmaker not discussed much anymore. Queen of Atlantis is a fantasy epic filmed in Africa, Crainequebille a satire on injustice with beautiful images of Paris in 1923, and Faces of Children is an impressively sensitive 1925 film about a boy facing a hostile new mother.
