Green For Danger
The Saunders and Gilliat filmmaking team give us a cracking-good murder mystery set in a country hospital with V-1 buzz bombs raining down on their heads. A great cast -- Alastair Sim, Leo Genn, Sally Gray, Rosamund John, Meg Jenkins -- worry about who is causing patients to die on the operating table ... and stalking nurses by night. Criterion.
