The Terminator: Special Edition

MGM ; released October 2, 2001
Interviews
Posted by Interviews Derrick Veurink on October 25, 2003 | 4.0 / 5
Side One of this disc contains various interview segments that were cut from the main documentary. These clips are encoded not as full video, but as automated still galleries to conserve disc space for the transfer. These interviews are accessible at six spots throughtout the disc. Each spot contains five interview clips*, from which one will be randomly selected when the spot is clicked upon. (Hence, it may be necessary to click on one spot multiple times to access all the available interviews.) The interview clip total is just under 40 minutes. Here are the locations of the interview sets: Segments 1-5: From the "Special Features" menu, select "DVD-ROM Features". Highlight "Main Menu" and press right to highlight a square on the bottom of the screen. Press enter. Segments 6-10: From the "Languages" menu, highlight "Francais". Press right to highlight a square on the right of the screen. Press enter. Segments 11-15: From the "Special Features" menu, highlight "Resume Film" and press down to highlight a square on the top of the screen. Press enter. Segments 16-20: From the "Scene Selections" menu, select "13-16". Highlight "Main Menu" and press down to highlight a square on the top of the screen. Press enter. Segments 21-25: From the "Scene Selections" menu, select "25-28". Highlight "Main Menu" and press down to highlight a square on the top of the screen. Press enter. Segments 26-29, Plus Essay*: From the "Scene Selections" menu, select "29-32". Highlight "Main Menu" and press down to highlight a square on the top of the screen. Press enter. *The last interview set only contains four interviews, but also contains the essay "Chrono-Surfing: A Brief History of Time Travel", by "Terminator" novelization author Randall Frakes.
