RIP Bob Clark and Son
What an absolute shame this is. It seems that Bob Clark and his 22-year-old son were killed in a head-on collision while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway this morning. The driver of the other vehicle was, allegedly, both intoxicated and without a valid driver's license.
An undeniable shame. Clark gave us some great films: Black Christmas, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, Deathdream, and Porky's, among others. Though he'll probably always be best known as the director of the annual holiday hit A Christmas Story. Rest in peace, Bob and Ariel Clark.
