Tom Green Show Uncensored
Synopsis:
Every generation has a village idiot. Tom Green is really working hard at being that idiot for a great many generations. His brand of in-your-face outrageous stunts has garnered him a TV show and something of a following. Pushing, rather obliterating the envelope, is Tom Green's schtick. Sometimes funny but largely silly to the point of being banal, Green's 15 minutes have become an hour and there's no end in sight for this seriously deranged comic madman. I was really looking forward to viewing the disc however; the disc has video and no audio at all. I tried it on both my stand-alone and my PC and the audio segment simply does not exist. To his credit, the disc appears to be well produced and the antics he's famous for are all contained on the disc. To the fan, I'd suggest contacting MTV Home Video or Sony Music Entertainment before picking it up.
Audio/Video:
Audio-Unavailable at time of review. Video-full frame format, shot on video. Quality of the images goes from good to fair. As expected, the segments contain a fair amount of transfer errors. (For the record, I did not watch the disc in it's entirety due to the audio problem but did, skirt through the segments in hopes of finding a live audio feed. No such luck.)
Extras:
Per the back of the box the extras include: Never before seen footage Tom Green Time Line A picture gallery Bios And screen savers
Overall:
I don't think it's really fair to review the disc in this format but, this is what the company sent. If you are a fan of Tom Green then this is already on your list of things to get. If not and you're merely curious, I'd say rent it first. Hopefully, they will have corrected this omission once the discs hit the street. Rent it.
