Lou was born in Cincinnati, Ohio but has lived most of his life in the midst of nowhere in a town called Bedford, Indiana, centrally located between Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Louisville. Having had a penchant for journalism since childhood, he is divorced with one son and works as a troubleshooter for a large automotive firm in the area, leading a fairly quiet life persuing his passions. At an early age he fell in love with movies, music and books, trying to pursue them all as hobbies to this day with varying degrees of success. Other hobbies/interests are travel, history, building and tinkering with computers, weightlifting, watching some sports, attending music concerts, enjoying life in general. He has decades of film viewing experience from theatres around the midwest and when not at home can often be found out and about big-game hunting for DVDs, music CDs and books to add to collections. At the age of 45 he is hoping he will never have to grow up.
