I grew up in Durango, Colorado in the 1970's and 80's where there were two movie theatres and a drive-in. I spent time in school reading lot of books, studying history and running a lot of mountain trails. Then after attended the Telluride Film Festival I decided that watching, making and writing about film was a worthy pursuit. I packed up and moved to Los Angeles where I started watching 300 movies a year. I am now a freelance writer living in Los Angeles and work on the outskirts of the movie biz.
