Don Houston

[Email]
Don reviews mostly anime and adult titles. He likes value and mentions it more than pretty much any other reviewer he's familiar with and won't hesitate to call something a ripoff if that's what he believes.

Porn: As one of the more prolific porn reviewers online, Don prefers technical quality over dark, shadowy movies in almost all cases. There are those who would prefer seeing shadows thanks to piss poor lighting but Don isn't one of them (and gonzo is not above scrutiny in terms of needing properly lighting and camera work no matter what you hear from reviewers elsewhere).
Don currently reviews a large selection of porn for DVD Talk and can be reached at his regular email found on all of his reviews. If you have questions, comments, or general complaints about his reviews, by all means email him with constructive criticism to tell him what you want to see in the future or to help him correct mistake that he admits to making.

Currently, Don writes and co-edits the Blue Room column and any submissions or suggestions for future articles, spotlight performers, or other material can be sent to him via email. If you'd like movies reviewed though, send an email to [email protected] since Don tries to focus his energies on bringing you the latest reviews (with a whole lot of help from his fellow writers who are often substantially more knowledgable in their specific fields of expertise) instead of setting up accounts with people.

Oh, and for those in the industry that get their panties in a wad about perceived criticism of their work, let it be known that Don has long held the following quote in high regard:
"Dare greatly. It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena." Theodore Roosevelt
