In Short: Mainly for fans of the band.

The film:

"Title Of DVD" is a compilation video from hard rock band Filter, taking a look at interviews with the band, videos and more. Some may remember the band from their hit "Hey Man, Nice Shot" that played quite a bit on MTV a few years ago. Songs Include: Welcome to the Fold, One, Hey Man Nice Shot, Stuck in Here (Live - Dublin, Ireland), Dose, Under (Live - Dublin, Ireland), White Like That (Live - Dublin, Ireland & San Francisco, CA), Stuck in Here, Jurrassitol, Hey Man Nice Shot (live).

While the video quality on most of the music videos was actually quite good, providing clear, clean images, the audio quality was somewhat underwhelming. Everything here is presented in PCM 2.0 and while the music videos are generally acceptable sounding, some of the live performance footage sounds a little scratchy and sometimes harsh. 5.1 would have been appreciated; while what's included sounds passable, I would rather have had the music rocking the entire room.

The interview footage is interesting, with the band providing their viewpoints about what they thought about the process of recording their new album and the choices they made while developing it. Part of this compilation also features a short documentary on the making of the "Welcome To The Fold" video that's quite interesting to watch. The content of this effort is certainly ok, but I just wish that more effort would have been put into making better looking and sounding live concert footage. The video quality is alright to fine throughout - I just wish the audio quality would have been stronger. Also included is a still picture montage of band photos.

Grade:C+
