The Movie

McDonald's is one of the world's largest fast food chains. It is well known for the its Big Mac sandwich, quarter pounder with cheese, tasty French fries, and happy meals that come with a toy for the younger eaters. People of all ages love McDonald's. And I will admit, I have had more than one meal at the establishment. But over the past few years, I have found my tastes for greasy, overly salted prepared foods not to my liking. Regardless, Playboy picked it for their Women of... series and six girls heeded their call for bombshells behind the counter who willing to strip down naked and show the world their "goods".

While I can imagine having a fantasy about customer service gals "helping" you out more than they are expected to, I can't possible think about McDonald's or any of its crew that way, no matter how attractive. When I think about McDonald's, I can't stop thinking about the grease, fat, and painful gut rot that may follow after consumption. Fantasies about girls who work there? Not going to happen. But despite my distaste for the fast food chain, Girls of McDonald's is here to cater to your fast food needs and you will be able to order (get ready, cheesy line coming up) a little something else besides fries with that shake.

The feature has six different McDonald's employees in the buff, talking about their lives, and why they want to be in Playboy. The girls include Cristy Creighton, a twenty year old shift manager, Amanda Bell, nineteen year old drive-thru captain, Jennifer Takach, twenty-two year old assistant manager, Sawnna Getzinger, twenty year old shift manager, Wanda Coallier, nineteen year old team leader, and Randy Occhialini, twenty-one year old manager. The girl's photo shoots have them posing in attire similar McDonald's posing with props like fast food French fries and drink cups that have the Playboy logo. Besides photo shoot and interviews, you'll be able to see the girls get a Playboy tattoo, guest star on a radio talk show, go bowling naked, and other such things.

I was pretty surprised at how young all of the six girls in this feature and also that they were all in some form of management/team lead positions. She was a sweet, fun gal. Overall, Girls of McDonald's features six scenes of material that you might enjoy for a while. However, after getting through a few of the girl's video profiles, it gets somewhat redundant. The girls talk about their lives, take off their clothes, and so on. The material can only be entertaining for so long before the excitement wears off.

The DVD

Video:
The video is given in 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color. The quality is pretty good with a clean picture and rich colors. However, there are portions with slight grain and noticeable ghosting.

Audio:
The audio is given in 2.0 Dolby digital stereo sound. The sound quality is good, except it offers very little distinction in separation between channels. There is a lot of spoken dialogue, most of which occurs concurrently with background music. Both are quite easy to hear.

Extras:
The first extra and only item really worth noting is "Best of Playboy's Women/Girls Of Series". It features three bonus video profiles with Tesha Mullen, Women of Wal-Mart, Signe Nordli, Women of Starbucks, and Sarah Jones, Girls of Reality TV. The other extras include a photo gallery and trailers for Sexiest Amateur Home Videos, Women of Fear Factor, America's Sexiest Bartenders, 2005 Video Playmate Calendar, and 50 Years of Playmates.

Final Thoughts:
While I may think along the lines of a heart attack (see Super Size Me) when I think of the fast food chain McDonald's, you might think otherwise. Playboy has envisioned that you (or someone you know) might be interested in seeing what six girls around the age of twenty are like with no clothes, as well as learning about their personalities and why they would want to pose naked in front of a camera. Well, I can't say I had a great time watching this video, but it wasn't a complete lose either. Some of the girl's profiles were interesting enough to watch.
