Mr. Wonderful
Video: Mr. Wonderful is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, as well as an optional full screen transfer as well. The image is a little grainy, but nothing serious enough to scare you away. Some wear signs can be seen as well, but the flecks and nicks are not frequent enough to warrant much of a point deduction. Colors are natural, so they are not as bright as some films, but retain some vibrance, just on a more realistic scope. Black levels are good, with some overly dark scenes, but again, nothing to panic over. Compression errors were non existent, this is a very good transfer from Warner.
Audio: The disc's stereo surround track is more than adequate, as the material is not audio driven by nature. Dialogue is the focus point, and it sounds crisp and clean. I did have some problems with the vocal volume, which varied somewhat during the film. I had to adjust the volume a few times to hear the speakers. The score is typical romantic comedy style, which is fitting, with the surrounds giving it a fuller sound that I expected. This may not be the most powerful audio track, but it sounds great for this movie.
Extras: No bonus materials were included on this disc.
