Embrace of the Vampire
The Movie: Embrace of a Vampire is, as you might expect, a movie about a vampire. This particular vampire was a rather normal fellow a few hundred years ago. He was in love with a girl, and one day after meeting with her in the woods, several female vampires attacked him. He lost her, until one day he found a girl who had the same soul as his first love. He, however, was growing weak, and needed to make her break up with her boyfriend and fall in love with him before he died. Overall, the plot to this movie isn't too strong, and at times it's just plain stupid.
Picture: The picture had some artifacts, although it was otherwise pretty clear. A fairly good transfer overall.
Sound: The sound, while good quality, didn't take much advantage of the surround sound. However, the dialogue was good and what did use the surround speakers sounded good as well.
The Extras: Besides the multiple versions of the movie and the Cast/Crew Bios/Filmographies, there isn't much on this disk. If you are looking for extras, skip it.
Conclusion: Overall, this is a weak disc and the movie isn't that good. Alyssa Milano fans will enjoy the disc, but otherwise I would skip this disc in favor of something else.
