Indochine
Audio: The audio is presented in the original French language with English subs. The audio platform used is a 2 Channel Dolby surround platform that was more than adequate for the feature's aural presentation. As such there is no use of the sub & the audio itself is very unremarkable. It's almost like watching a television program only with a digital video image.
Video: The video as presented is a beautiful anamorphic Widescreen format. The colors go from being very vibrant to dull and drab. This is not a slight on the production in as much as it is the overall use of muted/drab colors in certain scenes while more vibrant colors are used in other scenes. That notwithstanding, the images are incredibly beautiful & very well represented.
Extras: The extras on the disc are two trailers for films other than Indochine. There was no supplemental information or trailer for the feature itself.
Overall: Overall, Indochine is a very well done but very long film. Its historical accuracy is probably the best part of the film. If you are a fan of Catherine Deneuve & love tragic love stories then this one is for you. However, if you are not that big a fan of Deneuve's & tragic love stories are not your bag then you may want to rent this before plunking down any cash for it's purchase.
