Diplomatic Siege
The Movie: When I started watching this movie, the first thing that came to mind was that it was made for TV, but upon researching it at IMDb, it appears as if it was actually released in theaters and I pity anyone who paid to see this on the big screen. While there are some good action scenes and explosion, there's really nothing that can make up for the bad acting or horrible script. The script is full of holes and inconsistencies and the acting is no better. Definitely not a high quality movie, but maybe if it were made for TV it would be acceptable. Then again, maybe not.
The Picture: The picture quality is good, but I did notice a few inconsistencies in the picture. The colors were crisp and clear, but nothing really stood out. No anamorphic transer is also a downside to this disc.
The Sound: The sound is actually quite good. The Dolby 5.1 is really utilized for different elements of the movie and if anything helped the movie along, it was the sound - be it explosions, gunfire, or dialogue, the sound was really good.
The Extras: No extras are included anywhere on the disc. I did get a screener which didn't include any extras, but according to the disc, a trailer is the only extra included.
Conclusion: In conclusion, if you take a bad movie and package it with no extras on a DVD, you come out with a bad DVD. The movie is made-for-TV quality and the DVD isn't much better - skip this one if you can.
