1. Traditional 5-5 tag team match: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, and Rey Mysterio vs Jack Swagger, Antonio Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns.

2. Big E. Langston vs Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental championship.

3. Traditional 5-5 tag team match: Natalya, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Eva Marie, Jojo, Naomi & Cameron vs. AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn, Summer Rae & Aksana

4. Mark Henry vs. Ryback

5. John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.

6. CM Punk & Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan.

7. Randy Orton vs. Big Show for the WWE championship.

The PPV is kicked off with a traditional five on five elimination tag match. It was smart of WWE to put this match on first to get the crowd pumped up. Obviously this match was here to build up The Shield, well, more so to build up Roman Reigns. The match pretty much comes down to a five on one situation where Roman Reigns has to take on every member by himself (Seth Rollins is also not eliminated by this point, but he's been roughed up.) Predictably, yet still awesome to watch, Roman Reigns spears his way through every opponent until his team is awarded the victory. This match was pretty much the first step to building up Roman as a totally unstoppable force for his eventual babyface turn. It was cool to see the crowd cheering for Roman out of respect afterward, despite being the heel. 3 stars out of a possible 5 stars.

In our next match, rising star Big E. Langston defends his newly won Intercontinental Championship against the not so perfect, Curtis Axel. Langston is solid in ring considering his size and expected limitations, and with the right opponent can have a fantastic match (look at his match with Jack Swagger at Elimination Chamber), however Axel is NOT one of those opponents. The match only gets around 6 minutes (which was definitely the correct choice), the only offense Axel gets is a chinlock that exhausts half of the match, and a perfectplex in homage to his father. The rest of the match is Langston on offense with his nice looking power moves. 1 star out of a possible 5 stars.

The next bout is our last elimination tag match of the evening, this time with the divas. The problem with this match is that there are 12 divas in it, and the match only lasts around 11 minutes. Less than a minute per elimination and the entire match feels completely rushed. A lot of the eliminations were pretty ridiculous too, a few of the women are eliminated via dropkick and a missed corner splash. 1/2 star our of a possible 5 stars.

Mark Henry vs Ryback is yet another extremely rushed match (thankfully.) This match was basically here to showcase Mark Henry turning baby face and to continue the decline of Ryback down the roster. This was about 5 minutes long and overall a dud. 1/2 star out of a possible 5 stars.

The World Heavyweight championship match is next up as Alberto Del Rio challenges the reigning champion, John Cena. This wasn't too long after John had a reconstructive surgery on his elbow. The two work a solid pacing that tells a good story in the 20 minutes they had to work. In the opening minutes of the match Del Rio largely focused on Cena's arm to try and weaken it further for the cross arm breaker finisher, they eventually begin working a faster pace, trading signature moves, Cena hitting his signature 5 knuckle shuffle and top rope leg drop, while Del Rio executes his straight kick to the head and the bridging German suplex. Cena even breaks out a few moves from his repertoire that we don't typically see from him like a Tornado DDT off the top rope and a full nelson slam into a neck breaker. The climax of the match had many great near falls and false finishes, which led to an exciting finish. The only true problem I had with this match was that I seen it far too many times before. They have decent chemistry together, but Del Rio and Cena have had tons of matches in recent history and this one is no different than those previous matches. Also the crowd didn't believe Del Rio had a shot in hell to win. 3 out of a possible 5 stars.

The final match before our main event is the matchup the crowd has been waiting for, the two most popular wrestlers currently in the business, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, taking on one of the fiercest factions in wrestling, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family. The four meh very well together and start off with a very solid pace. Punk and Bryan try to use their size to their advantage, using quickness to beat them, while Rowan and Harper, try to slow things down and ground the two with their power moves. The match soon turns into a brawl between the four that never relents until the end of the match. The final five minutes in particular were awesome. I should notewhow much the Wyatt family have improved, While Harper and Rowan are pretty big guys, don't let it fool you, Rowan is pretty basic in the ring, delivering some nice power moves, but Harper is fantastic, he is honestly one of the best big guys I've seen and I think he has a very bright future ahead of him. With 2 veterans of the caliber of Punk and Bryan, Harper was able to hold his own, deliver some of the best spots and give the crowd a very good match. 3 1/2 stars out of a possible 5.

Finally we reach our main event, Big Show challenging Randy Orton for the WWE championship, a match that doesn't really feel like a marquee bout. The match itself was really dull. The two worked a very slow pace throughout the entire matchup, which souldn't be a real surprise considering the fact that Big Show is in the match and Orton typically works a methodical pace when he is a heel, regardless of opponent. Another thing that I didn't like about it was how predictable it was, there's no chance Orton is losing the belt, so why not put him in there with someone he could have a better match with? My favorite thing about the match was probably the crowd chanting for Daniel Bryan for the entirety. The PPV ends with a stare down between Cena and Orton, obviously setting up for their unification match. 1 out of a possible 5 stars.

Video and Audio
If you've seen one WWE DVD from the past year then you'll find this to be no different. The video quality for this transfer is the EXACT same. It's good, but nothing groundbreaking.

For audio, The 5.1 track was very clear. No noticeable distortions at all during the commentary or the fan chants.

Extras: - Survivor Series kickoff match, The Miz vs Kofi Kingston.

- Big Show and Randy Orton confrontation on Smackdown.

Overall:
The PPV overall was very average. Only one match I felt was above mediocrity and that was the tag match between Punk/Bryan and the Wyatt's. The other matches ranged from OK to god awful, some of which had no reason being on the card, why not just fill the time with some people who really deserve to be on the PPV like Dolph Ziggler??? If you absolutely MUST watch this PPV, there are much better out there, check it out on the WWE Network, this one is just not worth owning. I'll have to say skip it.
