Welcome to Peach Island

THE MOVIE
Those looking for some softcore action with very impressive women may enjoy watching Welcome To Peach Island, a DVD that I found fun to look at – although not nearly as fun as Peach's Erotic Gallery, which I also reviewed recently. I guess I'm just more of a lingerie guy than a bikini guy when it comes to what turns me on!
One problem I did have with this DVD over other Peach titles I have watched is the fact that each girl isn't clearly named…leaving it up to the viewer to guess which name on the box cover matches which girl you are watching on the disc. Like other Peach DVDs, this one is broken down into a number of sections, and here's what you'll find on this DVD:
"Lei Your Favorite Peach Girl"
In this interactive portion of the disc, you'll see a beautiful blonde in the center of the screen surrounded by six different leis. It's up to you to pick the right one in order to watch this girl's scene. When you finally pick the right one, you get to see this blonde in a white bikini stripping for you on the beach. The scene lasts about five minutes in length, and offers multiple angles, with angle one being a close-up of the girl and angle two showing off her whole body (I preferred this second angle).
"Tour The Island"
In this section, you'll get to watch five separate scenes (each about five to six minutes in length), featuring all of the girls in the title. "On The Rocks" showcases a blonde-haired girl posing on some rocks near the beach; "The Hot Springs" has covergirl Teanna Kai showing off in an outdoor hot tub; "Learn To Hula" features a brunette shaking her stuff and removing her clothing; "Hit The Sundeck" gives us a different (but no less cute) brunette slowly stripping on a deck; and "Twice The Fun" brings us two girls – a redhead and an Asian girl whom I'm pretty sure was Teanna Kai again…although she has her hair pulled back this time, so she's either sporting a different look or it's a different girl.
"Go To The Marina"
This is a montage of scenes near or on the beach featuring all the girls in the title. There are no multiple angles to watch here…this is more like an extended music video, which lasts about 15-minutes in length.
THE DVD
Video:
The video is relatively sharp and full of color, although not as sharp as I have seen on other Peach titles – perhaps because this was an outdoor shoot and most of Peach DVDs are shot indoors in studio settings. The video is presented in the full-frame format.
Audio:
The audio is presented in 2.0 Dolby, and isn't very impressive, although it's serviceable enough for this kind of title. As with other Peach releases, we don't (aside from the behind the scenes segment) hear any audio from the actual shoot anyway…this is just "erotic" music that was added during the final edit of the title.
Extras:
In addition to the segments listed above and the Multiple Angles featured in some of those clips, this DVD also includes an 8-minute Behind The Scenes featurette that will give you a chance to get to know a little more about the girls and the way their vignettes were shot.
Also included in the Special Features section of the disc is something called Naughty Voyeur Cam, which is a 14-minute vignette quite similar in tone to the "Go To The Marina" vignette that is on this DVD. Additionally, there's a Photo Gallery (which is actually a slide show, since viewers don't have any control over how long they can look at each picture) and six Trailers for other Peach releases.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Like most of Peach's DVD releases, the replay value is pretty low, so this is something you'll want to rent instead of purchase – unless, of course, you've really got a crush on one of the ladies. But compared to most softcore efforts in this genre, the Peach releases seem to be well-shot and feature some stunningly attractive girls…so if you're looking for this time of material, the Peach line of DVDs is the place you want to start your search.
