This Week's Notable DVDs
A lot of notable titles finding their way on to DVD this week including the highly anticipated DVD release for Gangs of New York [Review] a loaded DVD including commentary from Martin Scorsese. Charlie Chaplin fans will be in seventh heaven this week with the release of The Chaplin Collection, Vol. 1 which includes the classic Chaplin films Modern Times, The Gold Rush, The Great Dictator and Limelight - the restorations are breath taking and the films are simply amazing. New Line Cinema has their much maligned Real Cancun [Review] which turns out to be one genuinely fun teen sex comedy. IndieDVD has Bill Plympton's fun an bizarre Mutant Aliens [Review] and MGM rounds out the notables with the amazing Wings of Desire [Review], To Live and La Femme Nikita:SE [Review].
