This week there's no more notable DVD than the highly anticipated Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (Extended Edition) which adds a whopping 43 minutes of new material to the already epicly proportioned film. If you're looking for something more family friendly Dreamworks has Sinbad - Legend of the Seven Seas which got overlooked in theaters and is definitely worth checking out on DVD, Columbia Tri-Star has the beautiful Winged Migration with a great behind the scenes doc that shows you exactly how they got so close to those birds, Paramount has Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West and we've got a fantastic look at it from The DVD Savant. From Plexifilm comes Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns a gigantic DVD for a fascinating band, and Warner Bros. has the extremely popular The West Wing - Season 1 a definite purchase for fans of the show.
