This Week's Notable DVDs (12/9-12/16)
A number of notable DVDs this week that might get lost in the shuffle, so you'll want to make sure you don't miss them: Firefly - The Complete Series [Review] - a fantastic space western that was way ahead of its time, Assassination Tango - Robert Duvall's love note to the Tango with a snappy caper thrown in for good measure, Bad Boys 2 [Review] - good mindless action fun, Battle of Shaker Heights - a product of Project Greenlight which feels a lot like a TV movie except for a very strong performance from up and comer Shia LaBeouf, Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Fifth Season [Review] - yet another great season of Buffy, How to Deal [Review] - Mandy Moore builds her film resume with a film clearly targeted at teen girls, and last but certainly not least a film that is notable for being very, very bad: Gigli [Review] - JLo and Ben Affleck star in this disaster of a film whose only saving grace is a 5 min scene with Christopher Walken don't let your curiosity get the best of you.
