Selznick's western opus looks better than ever but the soundtrack is weak this go-round, Morituri - Yul Brynner and Marlon Brando make excellent thriller leads in this tense and uncompromising WW2 spy tale on the high seas and The Leopard - The once-unseeable Visconti masterpiece becomes one of Criterion's finest achievements.
