A great week full of notable DVDs, including: Mystic River [Review] - a fantastic character piece with strong performances all the way around, City of God [Review] - probably the best film you've never seen, a true hidden gem of a movie that must not be missed,
Field Of Dreams Anniversary Edition - one of the best films about dads and baseball finally gets the special edition it deserves, SCTV Volume 1 [Review] - one of Canada's great imports right after Hockey, Robocop Trilogy [Review] - buy it quickly or there will be...trouble, Along Came Polly - light, fun, silly and stupid - exactly what you look for in a weekend rental, Fangoria Blood Drive [Review] -add seven creative short horror flicks, Rob Zombie, Stan Winsten and Clive Barker and you've got yourself one bloody good DVD, and Quantum Leap: Season 1 [Review] - great television makes a great DVD, don't wait for cable re-runs to rediscover this finely crafted series.
