An interesting mix of DVDs announced this week, including several new titles in Columbia Tri-Star's Superbit line: S.W.A.T. (Superbit), Underworld (Superbit) , Once Upon A Time In Mexico (Superbit), The Missing (Superbit) and The Guns Of Navarone (Superbit) all out on DVD 10/26. Warner Bros has had a fantastic record with their multi-disc restorations, so we're extremely excited to hear that Gone With The Wind will be restored and released on a 4 Disc Collector's Edition on 11/9. Warner Bros also has another installment in their popular cartoon series Looney Tunes Golden Collection - Volume 2 on 11/2. Universal has announced an Unrated Director's Cut release for this summers sci-fi action fest The Chronicles Of Riddick on 11/16 and as you'd expect the DVD is packed with many special features focused on the effects and how the film was made. Also announced this week: The China Syndrome: Special Edition on 10/26, Profiler: Season 4 on 10/26, The Kids in the Hall: Complete Season 2 1990-1991 on 11/16.
