One of the summer's biggest films in the box office looks to become one of the biggest DVDs with the announcement of Spider-Man 2: 2 Disc Special Edition on 11/30 featuring: audio commentaries with the cast and crew, a pop-up trivia track, four web-i-sodes, bloopers, a 12 part making of documentary, a multi-angle feature and more. Spider-Man 2 will also be released in a 'featureless" Superbit edition. Also announced this week: Man on Fire on 9/14 - with another strong performance by Denzel Washington, The Day After Tomorrow on 10/12 - Fox's big fun disaster flick is a big fun summer rollercoaster ride... with a message, Ice Cream Man on 10/19 - The Clint Howard horror masterpiece is shamefully getting a "cheap ass" bare bones release, The Tesseract on 10/26 - an intensely personal story from Alex Garland, Author Of The Beach And 28 Days Later and, Even Cowgirls Get The Blues on 11/2 - Gus Van Sant's odd and entertaining adaptation of Tom Robbins' best selling book.
