Political Docs Come To DVD
If you're a fan of political documentaries, the next few months will be nirvana for you. Here's a recap of the notable political docs headding your way this fall: Fahrenheit 9/11 on 10/5 - probably the most well known political docs now with a ton of bonus footage on DVD including ' Outside Abu Ghraib Prison' and footage on the 9/11 Commission, John Kerry - Brothers in Arms on 9/7 - a look at the crew of patrol craft 'fast 94' and John Kerry's service in Vietnam, Bush Family Fortunes on 9/28 - an indepth look at the Bush Dynasty, The Hunting of the President on 9/28 - based on the best selling novel focused on the campaign to discredit Bill Clinton's presidency, Control Room on 9/28 - a look behind the scenes of Al Jazeera Television and The Corporation (released later this fall) - possiably the best of all the current crop of political docs. In addition there are a few political docs out now including: Outfoxed - Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism [Review] - a jaw dropping look at Fox 'News', Uncovered: The Whole Truth about The Iraq War - a strong condemnation of the war in Iraq and Disinformation: The Complete Series [Review].
