This Week's Notable DVDs - Ray, The Grudge and TV on DVD
It's great to see the turn around on successful theatrical films get even faster. This week's most notable DVD Ray [Review] is a perfect example of a great film quickly released on DVD. Other notable DVDs this week include: Shall We Dance? [Review] - a light romantic film with Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez and Susan Saradon, Shall We Dance? - The Original Japanese Version - with less star power but a lot more charm than the remake, The Grudge [Review] - Sarah Michelle Gellar fans will be happy but fans of good horror might want watch Takashi Shimizu's Japanese version Ju-on - The Grudge [Review] instead and Mulan II [Review] - an enjoyable film for a younger audience, it captures a lot of the magic of the original and is worth checking out. Also out this week are a number of notable TV on DVD releases including: Wonderfalls: Complete Series [Review, Charmed: S1 [Review], Cheers: S4 [Review], Frasier: S4 [Review], I Love Lucy: S3 [Review], Oz: S4, Sealab 2021: Season 2 and Taxi - S2.
