This Week's Notable DVDs - Birth, Primer and Errol Flynn
An interesting mix of notable DVDs this week including: Primer [Review] - an 'indie' film in every sense of the word, this film takes a fresh look at time travel and the impact on relationships, Birth [Review] - Nicole Kidman at her best in a very deliberate, challenging and often creepy film, Errol Flynn Collection [Review] - the original action hero is back on a fantastic 5 film box set including a bonus 6 disc with a swashbuckling feature length documentary, Riding the Bullet [Review] - from e-book to DVD this Stephen King thriller has had a long journey, but nowhere near as long as the main character of the film, Miracles: The Complete Series [Review] - the stepchild of The Exorcist and X-Files this series never got a chance on TV and now in it's full 13 episodes it shines on DVD. Other notable DVDs this week include: Dynasty: S1, Hanzo: The Razor [Review] and House of Flying Daggers.
