New DVD Reviews: Undeclared, Slim Susie and Vintage Mickey
With literally thousands of DVD Reviews (over 12,300 reviews!) in the DVD Talk Review Database it's easy to miss some of the notable reviews written by our staff. Recent DVD Reviews include: Undeclared - The Complete Series - an absolute joy of a TV series, full of painful memories, fond nostalgia, a warm-hearted sense of honest humor, and an almost palpable sense of sweetness; Slim Susie - a delirious mix of drugs, kinky sex, and a hefty dose of Scandinavian style off-beat action; Footballers' Wive$ - The Complete First Season - killer kitsch mixed with corrupt camp at its most memorable, a highly recommended romp; Drums Along the Mohawk - a magnificent film and among the handful that truly can be considered timeless; Vintage Mickey - who could have believed that one teeny little mouse on a steamboat would lead to an empire like Disney's; Alone in the Dark - so breathtakingly awful it may be one of the worst films made in the past few years. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
