This Week's Notable DVDs: Crimson Tide, Napoleon Dynamite and The Producers
Everything old is new again in this week's notable DVDs with a rash of re-releases and reissues including: Crimson Tide Unrated [Review] - an enjoyable film with new footage, new transfer and a handful of new features worthy of an upgrade; Napoleon Dynamite: Like, the Best Special Edition Ever! [Review] - like totally better than the first one... as if; The Producers [Review] - a feature musical inspired by a Broadway musical, inspired by a classic film, all from the mind of Mel Brooks; Con Air: Unrated [Review] - a completely barebones re-release with a few minutes added back in... are extras that hard to produce? Other notable DVDs out this week include:
Doogal [Review],
Home Movies: S4 [Review],
Mystery Science Theater 3K 9 [Review], The Ringer [Review],
That Girl: S1 [Review] and Winter Passing [Review]. Read our List of Top Upcoming DVDs for more great DVDs out this week, visit our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
