This Week's Notable DVDs: Cache, Ultraviolet, and Failure to Launch
A strong week for notable DVDs this week including: Cache [Review] - an enigmatic and entrancing film that is unconventional, intelligent, and highly-provocative; Ultraviolet: Unrated Extended Cut [Review] - this fast-paced popcorn movie might be cheesy and superficial but, if you shut your brain off, it's also a lot of fun; Failure to Launch [Review] - Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew McConaughey lead the way in this by-the-numbers rom-com with a few good laughs; Why We Fight [Review] - the timely and highly-important documentary that presents some very interesting, and persuasive, material about the current United States government. Other Notable DVDs out this week include:
Gwendoline: Unrated [Review], Masters of Horror: Deer Woman [Review] Masters of Horror: Sick Girl [Review], Colt .38 Special Squad [Review], Cow Belles [Review] and Family Affair: S1 [Review].
