TV on DVD Reviews: Animaniacs: V1, Jack of All Trades: CS, and Pinky & the Brain: V1
Some great TV on DVD releases reviewed this week including: Animaniacs: V1 - this animated series combines surrealism, music, education, and a heaping helping of pop-culture references with a silly, fun sense of humor to create a series that allows you to just sit back and enjoy; Jack of All Trades: Complete Series - completely over-the-top Bruce Campbell series is full of cheap laughs, one-liners, and swashbuckling adventure; Pinky and the Brain: V1 - these two wacky lab mice were popular enough on Animaniacs to earn their very own hilarious spin-off series; Murder in Suburbia: S1 - the brilliant, well-acted British series about an unlikely pair of female detectives solving homicides in their nice Middleford neighborhood; Rockford Files: S2 - James Garner is the main attraction in this classic detective series; Waiting for God: S1
- this British sitcom, about two residents of the Bayview Retirement Village, is easily one of the funniest shows to come from across the pond in a long time. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted TV on DVD.
