New DVD Reviews: Fabled, Mandela and What The Bleep
Now with over 16,500 DVD reviews in the DVD Talk Review Database, it's easy to overlook some of the great reviews. Recent DVD Reviews include: Fabled - Ari Kirschenbaum's excellent character study is a creative and unique look at the downward spiral of insanity; Bill's Dirty Shorts: A Collection of Bill Plympton's Newest Naughty Shorts - Bizarre, off the wall, irreverent, surrealistic, and odd, these shorts are also very funny; Palm World Voices - Mandela - a fantastic documentary in a nice set including a CD, map, and booklet; What the Bleep!?: Down the Rabbit Hole (Quantum Edition) - this new edition of the film is easily worth picking up for fans of the previous permutations; Roma Citta' Libera - Marcello Pagliero's Italian cinema classic is an excellent opportunity to see when Italian Neorealism was just starting to grow; Electric Shadows - this interesting Asian cinema import is a compelling celebration of cinema itself. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
