Clip of The Week: Ryna
This week we have a clip from Lifesize Entertainment's DVD release of Ryna. Sixteen-year-old Ryna is the daughter of a poor Romanian who runs a gas station in a small community on the Donau. Ryna has been brought up as a boy because her father had longed for a son. A deeply layered coming-of-age film, Ryna is as much about strong binding family ties and a young girl's search for her identity as it is about poverty, social suppression and the abuse of power by those who rule under the guise of a false freedom. Watch a clip from Ryna - this week's Clip of The Week. (Get more information about The Ryna DVD here). Be sure to catch past week's clips at DVD Talk TV.
