A number of notable TV on DVD releases reviewed this week including: The Unit - Season 1 - a show that was under the radar screen when it aired on TV is a gem of a discovery on DVD; Commander in Chief - The Inaugural Edition, Part 2 - a series which promised a lot but couldn't always deliver, worth watching but probably not owning; TaleSpin, Vol. 1 - one of Disney's strong afternoon series; Black. White. - The make-up effects, though not entirely convincing, are done well enough to make this series a curiosity worth a viewing; Gerald McBoing Boing Adventures - the sheer delight behind these cartoons combined with a bargain price is enough to make this one Recommended.
