With over 17,600 DVD reviews in the DVD Talk Review Database, it's easy to overlook some of the great reviews. Recent DVD Reviews include: An Inconvenient Truth - an important, powerful and necessary film, don't miss it; Ice Age - The Meltdown - much better than the first, Ice Age: The Meltdown adds to the original's formula with some well executed slapstick comedy and mild thematic tension; Scoop - a solid, entertaining effort from Woody Allen, and thus is Recommended; Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man - a terrific biography and a dynamite concert film lurks within but doesn't quite emerge; Archangel - Daniel Craig stars in an intelligent, graceful suspense tale with a twist of conspiracy theory tossed in the mix; The Wild Blue Yonder - Werner Herzog shows again why he's the preeminent genre-defying filmmaker; Wordplay - 11 Across: DVD Talk's second highest rating.
