TV on DVD Reviews: Da Ali G Show, Family Guy and CSI
A ton of notable TV on DVD releases reviewed this week including: Da Ali G Show: Da Compleet Seereez - before Borat there was Sacha Baron Cohen's hilarious HBO series, now completely packaged together with all twelve episodes from the first two seasons of the show; Little Britain: Season 3 - perhaps the swan song for one of the freshest and funniest sketch comedy shows in recent years; C.S.I. Crime Scene Investigation - The Complete Sixth Season - this season managed to keep pace with the excellent seasons that passed before, with some episodes that are among the show's all-time best; NCIS Naval Criminal Investigative Service - The Complete Second Season - the sophomore season is an actual improvement over the first; Gunsmoke - The Directors Collection - one of the most popular westerns and one of the very best straight dramas in television history; Family Guy, Vol. 4 - it's the fourth volume, but the sixth release for Seth MacFarlane's resurrected series, can it still measure up? Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted TV on DVD.
