New Movie Reviews: Casino Royale, Fast Food Nation, and Happy Feet
Daniel Craig steps into the legendary shoes of 007 in the latest James Bond adventure Casino Royale. Can Craig live up to the legacy of Roger Moore, Sean Connery, and Pierce Brosnan who all played the superspy before him? You decide as Casino Royale opens wide this weekend. Also in theaters this week is Fast Food Nation - Richard Linklater's take on Eric Schlosser's 2001 best selling book about exposing the "dirty little secrets" of the fast food industry; Happy Feet - a well-intentioned but ultimately confusing film that is strictly for the kids; and For Your Consideration - Christopher Guest is back at it again, only this around it's not in the mockumentary format that's made him so well known. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Bobby, Stranger than Fiction, Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus, A Good Year, Harsh Times, Fuck, Copying Beethoven, Borat, Flushed Away, Dixie Chicks: Shut Up & Sing, Santa Clause 3, Saw III, Death of a President. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.
