Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's homage to their favorite grindhouse memories finally hits theaters as Grindhouse. The highly-anticipated double-bill showcases Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror and Tarantino's Death Proof in a back-to-back grindfest (with all the grindhouse trappings included: campy trailers, missing reels, etc). Grindhouse opens wide this weekend. Also in theaters this week is The Reaping - Hilary Swank proves that she obviously already has enough Academy Awards by starring in this silly Biblical plagues film; The Hoax - Lasse Hallström's latest stars Richard Gere selling his "biography" of Howard Hughes in the early '70s; and Are We Done Yet? - if Are We There Yet? wasn't bad enough, now we have this latest offering (what's happened to Ice Cube???).
