New Movie Reviews: Year of the Dog, Zoo, and Condemned
Mike White (writer of Chuck & Buck and The Good Girl) makes his directorial debut with Year of the Dog. Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly, and Laura Dern lead an excellent ensemble cast in this indie film about a secretary whose life changes after her dog dies. Year of the Dog opens this weekend. Also in theaters this week is Zoo - the insanely interesting documentary about a Seattle man who died as a result of an unnatural "encounter" with a horse; The Condemned - "Stone Cold" Steve Austin stars in this latest release from WWE Films; and The Tripper - David Arquette directs this gory flick starring Jason Mewes and Jamie King. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Next, Chasing October, Hot Fuzz, Vacancy, Fracture, In the Land of Women, Cracker Crazy: Invisible Histories of the Sunshine State, My Name is Bruce, The TV Set, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.
