This Week's Notable DVDs: The Office, Desperate Housewives and Nip/Tuck
A strong week for notable DVDs fairly dominated by TV on DVD releases including: The Office: S3 [Review] - an outstanding year for the Scranton crew, focusing on the personal relationships that tie the office together and risk tearing it apart; Desperate Housewives: S3 [Review] - a fun and engaging collection of episodes with over-the-top drama, witty dialogue and comedy; Nip/Tuck: S4 [Review] - must see TV, with great guest stars, engaging story arcs, and plenty of surprises; Robot Chicken: S2 [Review] - there aren't many other shows on television that can referentially ricochet from "Thundercats" to the 1999 cinematic misfire Idle Hands. Other notable DVDs out this week include:
30 Rock - Season 1 [Review], Black Donnellys,
Dirty Jobs Collection 1 [Review | Interview] Georgia Rule [Review], It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: S1 &2,
Night on Earth [Review], Stranger Than Paradise [Review] and The Wind That Shakes the Barley. Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
