This Week's Notable DVDs: Film Crew, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee
A strong week for notable DVDs including: Film Crew: Wild Women of Wongo [Review] - the most gut bustingly funny Film Crew release to date; Invasion of the Body Snatchers - Collector's Edition [Review] - one of the best remakes ever on an upgraded disc worth getting for the extras;
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee [Review] - while perhaps not 100% historically accurate, it has an overarching truth of spirit and heart that will speak deeply to many people; Face/Off [Review] - Slick, stylish and over-the-top, John Woo's Face/Off is one of the more memorable action films of the 1990s. Other notable DVDs out this week include:
American Cannibal [Review],
Avatar The Last Airbender 2,
Bones: S2, The Graduate,
Grey's Anatomy: S3 [Review], McHale's Navy: S2 [Review], Return of the Living Dead,
The Starter Wife and
Two and a Half Men: S1. Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
