This Week's Notable DVDs: The Big Lebowski, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Child's Play
Some all-time favorites are being released (or re-released) this week including one of the Coen Brothers best and some classic comedy from the BBC. This weeks top titles include: The Big Lebowski: 10th Anniversary Limited Edition [review 1, review 2] - one of the most offbeat and re-watchable comedies ever made. If you haven't seen it, stop reading now and go get a copy; It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 3 [review] - Following the antics of five greedy, self-absorbed slackers running a dive bar, the show is highly quotable, remarkably re-watchable and instantly addictive; Child's Play - Chucky's 20th Birthday Edition [review 1 review 2]- Smartly executed and quite funny, this iconic horror cult film plays even better today than it did twenty years ago; and
The Best of... What's Left of... Not Only... But Also... [review 1 review 2] - hilarious sketch comedy from Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. Other releases of note
include: Cool Hand Luke - Deluxe Edition [review] and Fox Horror Classics, Vol. 2 (Chandu the Magician / Dr. Renault's Secret / Dragonwyck) [review].
