This Week's Notable DVDs: Bolt, Quantum of Solace, and The Odd Couple
Some solid releases are making their way to studio shelves this week. The top titles include: Bolt [review] - a film infused with a heckuva lot of charm, deliriously over-the-top action, and some startlingly beautiful animation; Quantum of Solace [1st review, 2nd review] - an exciting, enjoyable continuation of an edgier, tougher, tighter Bond's adventures, and those who were thrilled by the surprises of Casino Royale will likely find more to enjoy here; and The Odd Couple [review]- rightly recognized as one of the highlights of Neil Simon's amazing writing career, this film is, a total delight all the way around.
Other releases of note include: Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter & Under the Hood [ DVD review. 1st Blu-ray review, 2nd Blu-ray review], Stephen Hawking and the Theory of Everything [review], and Room 222: Season One [review].
