Unfortunately, the earlier DVD special edition is better both for quality and extras; The Complete Billy Jack Collection - The entire Tom Laughlin Billy Jack opus biggus has been gathered into one deluxe boxed set, with multiple commentaries. Get 'em while they're half-baked: The Born Losers, Billy Jack, the deranged The Trial of Billy Jack and the Jimmy Stewart copycat Billy Jack Goes to Washington. Writer-director-star Laughlin certainly predicted today's insane political atmosphere -- there's enough faux-pacifism and paranoid alarmism here to confuse anybody; and Wagon Master - This endearing wagon train movie is one of John Ford's favorites, a gentle desert trek with an amiable hero (Ben Johnson), an independent heroine (Joanne Dru) and reels of beautiful B&W images.
