This Week's Notable DVDs: Monty Python, Battlestar Galactica: The Plan and Orphan
Some pretty cool discs are being released this week. Check out these new titles: Monty Python: Almost The Truth [ DVD review, Blu-ray review]- the remaining members of Monty Python discuss their ground-breaking show and movies in this excellent six-part documentary; Battlestar Galactica: The Plan [DVD review, Blu-ray review] - the entire Galactica Saga told from the point of view of the Cylons, something fans of the show won't want to miss; and Orphan [Blu-ray review]- Sharply directed, really well-acted, and surprisingly creepy and tense, this film winds up being a ridiculous amount of fun.
Other releases of note include: Z - Criterion Collection [review], Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs [review], and On the Road with Charles Kuralt - Set 1 [review].
