Talking Out of Frame: Roberto Rossellini, Che, and Paris, Texas
One month into 2010, and we already have what seems like an embarrassment of riches in terms of DVDs. Criterion has really knocked it out of the park with their new boxed set Roberto Rossellini's War Trilogy - Watching this collection doesn't feel like you're just watching movies, but like you are watching history; the three-disc Che set, also from Criterion earns the DVD Talk Collector Series rating, and then there's Wim Wenders' drama Paris, Texas which is described as "a film of countless pleasures." Check out all that and much, much more in this month's installment of Talking Out of Frame: Arthouse Cinema on DVD.
