DVD Savant: Capitalism: A Love Story, The Last King of Scotland, and I Died a Thousand Times
This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews and articles including: Capitalism: A Love Story - Michael Moore's latest may be his best; it looks at the veritable overthrow of our democracy by corporations and the financial industry. Entertaining good information presented in a clear manner, free of Moore's earlier ambush tactics; The Last King of Scotland - Forest Whitaker is the intimidating Idi Amin Dada in Kevin Macdonald's suspenseful story of a Scots doctor who becomes a close advisor to a maniacal dictator; and I Died a Thousand Times - Jack Palance and Shelley Winters star in a CinemaScope and color remake of the Bogart favorite High Sierra. With Lee Marvin and Lon Chaney Jr. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
