Rare titles, clean transfers; An American Dream - This 1966 adaptation of a novel by Norman Mailer is a highly entertaining car wreck, a campy exercise in bad taste and pretention. Stuart Whitman is the muckraking TV pundit suspected of murdering his wife, a sadistic nymphomaniac; Janet Leigh is the mob moll dreaming that love is still possible. Great trashy, tasteless fun that leaves no scenery un-chewed; and Dune - Universal presents the Theatrical Cut (only) of David Lynch's extravagant space opera on Blu-ray, making us wish that the director would return to the show for an authorized extended version.
